Mission
The mission of the Sag Harbor Church (The Church) is to
foster creativity on the East End to honor the living
history of Sag Harbor as a “maker” Village.
The Church will champion new and traditional technologies
through collaboration, education and outreach.
The Church is operated by Edge and Center, Inc, a not-for-profit public charity, EIN # 84-1866415.
Progress
Although we have almost completed renovation of the deconsecrated Methodist Church as a creative resource, we hope that fall of 2020 may be a safe date for opening to the general public, depending on the pandemic. Artists-in-residence will be invited as soon as possible, and will be chosen by recommenders rather than by open submission.
See our Plans page for more detailed information.
See our Behind the Scenes page for architectural progress reports from our architect Lee Skolnick.
Check back for updates and sign up for our email list.
SUPPORT THE CHURCH
We are pleased to announce that we have received our tax-exempt status from the IRS and may receive tax-deductible contributions as a public charity. Our official name is Edge and Center, Inc, doing business as The Church, and our EIN # is 84-1866415.
SAG HARBOR'S AMAZING HISTORY
